JANE HOLZMAN, LCSW

Jane Holzman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University in 1986 and subsequently trained at the Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy of N.J. She began her career as a clinician at Trinitas Hospital’s Child & Adolescent Outpatient Unit where she worked with children, adolescents, and families for 14 years.

In addition to working at The Institute For Change, Jane works in a high school drop in center where she provides counseling and mental health support for teens struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress related to adolescent developmental issues.

Jane has been working with children, adolescents, and adults for over 25 years. She has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD and in helping clients work through challenging transitions such as college, career changes, bereavement, and divorce.

As a clinician working with children, Jane collaborates with parents and schools in order to develop effective strategies for achieving growth and attainment of therapeutic goals

Jane creates a supportive, warm, and collaborative environment with her clients and incorporates mindfulness and DBT strategies into her practice.
